Labour Shadow Minister Tristram Hunt was parroting the party line about Monaco-based tax exiles on QT last night, while also extolling the benefits of EU membership. Monaco is an integral part of the EU customs territory & VAT area. Surely if being in the EU is a good thing then people who run UK businesses while living in non-UK parts of the EU are an acceptable part of that arrangement ?
