Closing day centres is undisputed vandalism. They can be financially viable. In Chiswick Doctors carers and others made a strong case for retention -all in vain. Acton lodge cited as a viable option. Refurbishment agreed at planning. Now demolished -no rebuild. Policy Strategy? Highest increase in elderly recorded in W4 John |
