There has been a promise of higher recycling for little or no effort with no political implications? It is a power and control thing? WE all know that they would be more successful if they concentrated their efforts where information and education and/or solutions or fines and court proceedings are needed. Were they clever enough to include in the contract for any info that they crews have on this to be followed up on? Or is this just a tick-box collection? Waste arisings are still supposed to be declining so maybe they're afraid that there won't be anything worth having? Wheelies still don't do the sorting for you and they do take some looking after! Isn't there still talk of banning food waste from landfill... The less that you make the easier it is to deal with! |
