" that tax rise actually paid for blue light services" Well, maybe from a marketing point of view.... Reality says you have a chunk of money and choose how to spend it. We are well off without Kenny and maybe not that much better off with Boris. It's much like PFI. It's merely a matter of CFOs playing silly b&ggers with the money. Ultimately it will always cost you more to introduce overheads which is what leasing and PFI is. Looks good in the short term and allows a few incompetents to have large bonuses but, in the end, you will pay.... |
