If we were allowed to continue using black sacks, I would willingly donate my wheelie bin. The latest reason from Hounslow for not accepting loose black sacks is that because each truck will be modified to have two bin lifting devices on the back, it would not be acceptable from a health & safety viewpoint for operatives to have to throw the sacks over the top of the bin lifters. Sounds a bit like an invented excuse to me. |
