| What time of day did was your bike locked up and then returned to. Also how long do you think it was between seeing your bike on the other lock and the other person appearing. I have heard of this scam but really only when the person returns after dark and has loads of time. Surely an honest cyclist would only lock his to another bike if he knew he was a) not going far, and b) only going to be a few mins. Do you think you might have been observed by the 'cyclist' whilst hack sawing away , and therefore he realised and came back to at least save his bike from being left unlocked ? |
