Pros and cons - usually more expensive to use two, they tend to give you a better deal for exclusivity. But competition tends to make them buck up a bit...when I was selling I gave exclusivity for a short time and told them if they hadn't sold it within a reasonable time I would put it mult-agency.
In my Duke Road flat a private buyer saw the for sale sign so I sold it privately for cash, in my Whellock Road flat the agent sold it just before I went multi-agency. The quality of agents varies hugely. I always liked Fletchers, if they are still around. |
