| Claire, that is the present government's policy. It will be interesting to see what Mary Macleod says on the matter in her election pledges next year - and indeed Justine Greening and Zak Goldsmith, who have also strongly opposed the third runway option for Heathrow. All three will need to make their personal positions clear if Davies should recommend a third runway at Heathrow. Labour, of course, are completely untrustworthy on the matter - rushes of blood to the head indeed ! They went into the last election committed to permitting a third runway and that leopard hasn't changed its spots. |
