My husband is a decorator, he quotes for a job and fairly often at the end he is given extra, "a drink" as it is referred to with tradesmen, because he has a happy customer, but he has quoted for a professional job and that's what he does, some people just seem to be surprised to get a good job.  He certainly never expects to get more than he's quoted for.
