| Out and about last night we were sitting in traffic on a small bridge leading to Wellington Rd. South. There have been several accidents with cyclists here and one fatality. After this the council put barriers one side and a notice telling cyclists to dismount and walk on the paved side over the bridge, the other side having no pedestrian access. Some idiot cyclist came banging up on the outside of the traffic to overtake, the point is the bridge is far too narrow to do this because if you come face to face with anything there is simply nowhere to go to avoid another vehicle. Stupid, stupid cow, for yes, it was a female, sometimes I despair. |
