Seeing the article about the TFL replacing Gunersbury Ave (North Circular) railway bridge in 2015 which is obviously going to cause traffic chaos in this area once again.

I bet the next one to fall under the TFL spell is the already weak bridge on the A316 know as the Alexandra Bridge.

A short bit of history about Alexandra Bridge

The concrete bridge carrying  Alexandra Avenue (A316) over the railway was opened in November 1923, known as the Alexandra Bridge it was rigorously tested with the combined weight of four steam rollers, a petrol roller, and 10 petrol vehicles, 156 tonnes in all.

I bet TFL attention will soon turn to Kew Bridge as they were built at  similar times.

Maybe it's time to think about moving away as there could be many years of traffic congestion ahead for this area
