Charlie is sorely missed, she was such a lovely sociable creature, and what happened to Molly was simply dispicable. How anyone could leave an animal in agony like that, and simply walk away guilt free makes you wonder what sort of people we have to share our community with. Thankfully there are nice people around and a massive thankyou to the lady that stayed with Charlie after she had been found. Sorry, to answer your question Will, there are traffic calming measures in the form of road humps, but far too small to make people slow down and I think some were removed after the road was last resurfaced. I'm thinking of getting a petition together or try contacting the local mp's to see about the best way to get something better in place and would be interested in peoples thoughts on this as it's only a matter of time before a child runs into the road and gets knocked down.
