This is my take on payment. I'm not sure I would have expected to get paid for a "few hours" as a "trial shift" with the hope of being offered a position It's something one does to get a foot in the door i would have thought If someone had done a shift or more, 7-8 hrs a shift, then my thoughts would be the opposite. Or am i behind the times on this?
