| There are lots of little public gardens in Chiswick. Some of them have been adopted by heroic locals, who are watering them and keeping them alive. But in others, the plants are wilting and dying in the drought. If you have one near you, and you are able, please try and give it a bit of water. You can use a watering can, or buy giant 25 litre gerry cans on Amazon for £10, which is a bit more efficient maybe. Or also 10 litre buckets from B&Q for £1. A few buckets of water might keep some of the plants alive until it starts raining again. I’m trying to look after the Park Road / Staveley Road junction garden (although any help with that would be appreciated because I’m unwell so it’s a bit of a struggle for me). thanks Steve |
