Chris, do yourself a favor.
Use Voi. They are much better than Forest and now can be ridden and parked in Hammersmith. The user interface on the app is superb. Example...when parking Voi learns your habits so there is "personal fast-track area" feature that automatically kicks in and the ride closes down immediately. With Forest, you may have to live through pop-up adds, a system reboot (a personal favorite) and a minimum of four clicks to end the ride. Every single time.
Any of the systems can be gamed to leave a bike wherever, whenever. To Julian's point about the antiques market, the traders will simply dump the bikes into the cycle lane in order to trade. Happens all the time. They do the same with the rubbish that lingers on the High Road. |
