I found myself in Hammersmith at 11pm last night and decided to walk home to Chiswick. Got as far as Latymer School and saw a Lime bike so decided to jump on as I still have the app on my phone. Lovely, smooth ride back to Chiswick ... but then I couldn't find anywhere to park it when I got back to W4. I checked on the Lime app and each of the blue parking spaces I cycled to said "You are unable to park here". Eventually, after spending an extra £5 trying to find somewhere to park the bloody thing I ended up leaving on an unmarked piece of pavement at the park end of Fishers Lane because that's where the Lime app said I should leave it. The time it took for me to find somewhere to end my ride and the walk home from where I left the bike, well let's just say I could have carried on walking from Latymer and it would have been quicker, and cheaper. I was not in the best of moods when I got home but luckily everyone was in bed so they didn't feel my wrath and I yelled at the TV instead. Unbelievably ridiculous situation
