| There was discussion about speed limiters on cars. I don't see why any ordinary motorists should be driving at 120 mph on our roads. There is also an argument for cars to not travel more than the specified speed limit on roads. The difference with cars though is that they do by law have to be registered, taxed and have an MOT when over a certain age and drivers have to take and pass a test for a licence unlike cyclists. The biggest problem is powerful motorised bikes being imported and ridden on the roads and pavements that should by law be licensed as motorcycles and whose riders have not passed any road/driving skills test and don't know the rules of the road. |
