I can't comment on the football and I don't think it is likely that people would actively campaign for asylum seeker hostels to be opened given that the number is being reduced across the country. You seem to be unaware that there were a number of locations in Chiswick at which refugees were housed and local people had zero problem with this because they weren't falling for the scaremongering spread on social media.
