“ cyclists who sometimes feel obliged to use the pavement out of fear of traffic” Yes ‘at the time’ 1999, the Home Secretary was probably right but in 2025 there is no excuse because £billions has been spent on cycle lanes across the country. There is certainly no excuse to riding on pavements in Chiswick. Why aren’t the police and local authorities fining these irresponsible, law breaking people? |
