| Totally agree no benefits should ever be greater than the average wage otherwise those on benefits will never work and the likelihood nor will their children. Labour is encouraging benefits not getting people back into work, it’s outrageous that work doesn’t pay. The benefits of work are far greater than just financial, social interaction improves mental health and learning skills can only add to a more positive society. I fully support children of irresponsible parents being supported in other ways so they have a chance. There is zero guarantee that extra money will go to the benefit of the children. Labour at its best totally irresponsible. |
