| We also need to think about quite how we expect the Councils to clear the leaves blown or swept off the pavements when the streets have become car parks and to clean it all the cars need moving and to just suck out the gulleys to prevent them being blocked and flooding cars still need moving. There are cars that never seem to move at all and whose owners aren't known who may not live in the street and may have just parked there to get a train or a plane elsewhere and be gone for months. We too often don't think past our own convenience. It's easiest to request bags from the Councils and to notify the Council of heavy leaffall or large drifts of leaves. (We're not yet in control of where the wind blows!) |
