While not disputing any of your claims for the previous Conservative-led administration, your party's previous rock solid reputation for fiscal and economic competence has been completely destroyed by Brexit, Truss and Johnson.

You significantly outperformed national polling at the last local election due to the hard work of you councillors but the danger is that even with Labour faltering, if the Reform stands a full slate of candidates in Chiswick wards, Labour will win more seats next year.

The only way back for your party in this part of the country is if you start trying to appeal to what used to be your core vote and adopt a centre right strategy which is unapologetically pro-business which necessarily means not obsessed with immigration and in favour of closer trading ties with our nearest neighbours. However, we all see you slowly tipping towards making Jenrick your leader which would probably mean even John Todd losing his seat if, God willing, he is well enough to stand again.
