The article below from the Hounslow Herald by Cllr Mushiso is not pulling any punches. He lays into Cllr Gill and suggests he jumped before he could be deselected. This follows on from his criticism of Cllr Biddolph the previous week. https://hounslowherald.com/responsibility-must-always-come-first-writes-local-cllr-p28209-95.htm This smells a bit like panic with the 2026 election not looking good for them retaining their seats. Even if Cllr Gill was nominated again he looked unlikely to retain his seat. Labour is probably going to take punishment in next year's vote but in seats like those in Chiswick, Reform will mainly take the Tory vote share so the current administration may take some seats particularly if the opposition continue to fight among themselves. |
