According to a friend who was quite active in opposing the scheme, the issue was that Hounslow Council's planning department only made a very brief mention of the objection of the Hounslow Council Conservation officer to the scheme. It was felt the latter's views should have been reflected in full to councillors on the committee and that failure to do so made any decision vulnerable to a legal challenge. The consultation has already taken place so this application can still be approved at the next meeting but not if any material amendments are made. |
