You can see why the council might be keen to push this one through given the extra housing being provided and the truly huge amount of money being handed over throught the Community Infrastructure Levy. However, once pristine views are lost, they will never be regained and it becomes easier to blight them further. I couldn't see that the Chiswick House and Garden Trust made an objection which seems odd if it is the case.
