An excellent and honest article posted by Julian taken from the Independent. I was amused though by the last sentence.

Bless her!  Doesn’t she realise that happened at least a decade ago, especially more so when Kahn ruined London by imposing cycle lanes where they aren’t needed or wanted.  Cyclists have long been the scourge of London society and with their arrogant, death wish attitudes, we have long ago waved goodbye to harmony on the roads. Even when there are more and more deaths of moronic and stupid cyclists, others don’t learn from it start to behave more responsibly and with more respect for pedestrians and motorists. There will inevitably be more deaths of these morons and there will inevitably be more whinges and violin playing from other cyclists which will leave me cold.

However, this thread isn’t about injuries to moron cyclists, it’s about the running down of an innocent pedestrian by a hit and run scumbag cyclist where police are seeking witnesses and asking the public to help so that the scumbag can be apprehended and punished. All cyclists will be fully aware that they are the scourge of society and it not change just like the increase in motor vehicle sales  will not change as more and more youngsters are getting their Driving Licenses as they opt for a safe and comfortable means of travel.
