| This kind of attitude from Russell Pearson is very counterproductive. Completing these surveys is important and, if a clear picture emerges of any problems that the measures are causing, then an attempt will be made to tackle them. It suits both extremes of this polarised debate to pretend that the council is implementing a dogmatic, anti-car agenda. This is not the case and traffic officers at the council will be trying their best to manage our roads in a way that balances the needs of all residents. If you are not using the proper mechanisms to tell them about any problems that their decisions have created for you, you can't complain when no action is taken to resolve them. |
