| You may know Chiswick Village...off Oxford Road South...an estate of apartments and flats which were seemingly built before WW2. On a local Facebook page recently...a contributor mentioned that there had once been a swimming pool in that triangular green space at the front. That was a surprise to hear. Can I add that in times gone by, two railway tracks occupied that space.... the branch line from Gunnersbury to Kew Bridge Stations. Well fancy that I hear you say! |
