| Patrick.If you made the report to the call centre operative and they took all the details of your stolen vehicle and gave you the crime reference number then you won't hear anything else from the police unless the vehicle is recovered.What else would you expect the police to do ? The details of your stolen vehicle will now be logged onto the police national computer.Your car will be visible to police cars fitted with ANPR.What else would you want the police to do ? You cannot phone your local police station anymore.But our "local"police station is Hounslow.Things have changed since the days when you reported the theft of the vehicle and the police came along and looked at the space in the kerb where your car used to be parked.I'm really sorry about the theft of your car.But now that you have reported your car stolen,as long as you gave them all the details on the phone.That will be the end of your dealings with the police |
