| The bridge belongs to TfL. The obligation is only to keep the pavements clear. Pigeon-proofing the bridge is expensive & not a priority. You won't win that. The street lamps are Hounslow Highways & used to have a ring of guano round the base of each one. When we did the mural, gosh, I guess someone must have stuck anti-pigeon spikes on each one. If someone wants to give me (via Abundance of course) around £20k we can net the underside of the bridge. Without that kind of money, you won't get the bridge sorted. Better to concentrate on the people (one chap in particular) who bring loaves of bread each day for them. You could ask your councillors to get some kind if order against that. I think it could help. I've picked two dead pigeons out of the new flower bed so far, one decapitated by a passing dog. The joys of community gardening. |
