"They know already where the flight paths are going to be"

No, they dont, they only know a preferred location for a third runway and how many flights they wish to increase without a third runway.

I think you are missing out NATS, CAA and the ACOG set up by NATS. When they know the precise final location along with modernizing the airspace over the southeast they will be the ones to say and then LHR will know and likley then to spell out the changes. You as an airport don't just think of where to slap a runway and know instantly what new flight paths will be operational. They are not telling you because they don't know. It is all silly conspiracy thinking.

The Airspace Change Organising Group set up by NATS has only just appointed its Director of Safety and Airspace from the Civil Aviation Authority 30 days ago to run and modernize airspace changes over the southeast and that includes arrivals and departures from all airports.

Heathrow lack of communication to communities over varied subjects is a valid point but if you take the front page headline with CHATR you could say CHATR took over a month to let the community know about increased flights.

Did anyone tell you that the 4 engine A380 is already being taken to the breakers yard and replaced by the 2 engined A350 due to its design and engine variants The jumbo 747 will most likely make its final departure from Heathrow around 2024. In 5 years time, nearly all planes will be twin-engine only

BA along with VELOCYS,SHELL,SUEZ and NORMA have purchased a 80-acre  site on the Humber estuary to start producing sustainable fuel for aviation from  residual waste left over recycling, destined for landfill or incineration and say sustainable fuel for jets should be available by 2024 cutting  70% of greenhouse gas and a 90% reduction in particulate matter emissions.

Pratt & Whitney, General Electric, Rolls-Royce, and CFM are all working on better cleaner more aerodynamic engines for the future but noise comes from airflow and that is about things like wing flaps and undercarriage. NASA is making huge inroads with modifications in two Gulfstreams to make airflow better and the likes or boing and Airbus will all be watching and developing.

I only write this because of i am, not a plane spotter or a lover of planes but i take time out to read about things which people don't.

When you go back to those graphs and arrows published for flightpaths i can tell you now that no A350 0R 777 is going to make able a 45-degree bank over Chiswick at that height and increased speed which you need to do so and be inline for final approach. You cover so many miles in doing so that you would be doing a go around all the time. Ignore not all but many of those graphs, they are misleading as flight paths but more likely as a guide to general direction from the north and not as i say specific paths.

Im not the expert but thought what people dont know may now have a little bit of understanding of what the future changes are being made. Like everything, modernisation and tech is changing fast and the avaiation industry is not far away from a big switch if not next year but you get the drift.
