So when you pay your £500 to have a lamppost converted, does it become your own personal charging point with your name or house number written on the road alongside it? Or will you most likely find it 'blocked' by an 'ordinary' car, or used by some other EV owner who hasn't paid anything towards it? With far fewer lampposts than homes in most streets, this doesn't seem to be a very practical long term arrangement.
