I don't claim any expertise on Parking Charge Notices for parking on private land, where the legal basis and the procedures are different. I do have some personal experience of the French equivalent of a PCN, a "Violation Notice" (in English!) that arrived in the post today. Apparently I exceeded a 56 mph limit (90 kph) by just 3 mph last August. It's taken them 7 months to get my address from DVLA and pursue me for 45€. Sorry Phil, this won't help you, but I thought people might be amused that I'm not immune from such things! |
