| "Still I would love to see Santander bikes expand West to Chiswick." WHY ? Mobikes appear to have been a failure and there's no reason to think that Santander's scheme would be any more successful. If CS9 does go ahead TfL's prediction is a mere 5% on current number of Cyclists going through Chiswick, which is pitiful. In a time of austerity should taxpayer's money be spent on a minority group, as well as ruining our wonderful tree lined pavements. One other point is why are TfL so reluctant to release the the Consultation figures despite at least 2 FOI requests ? Could it be that the statistics prove that the majority of Chiswick's stakeholders vetoed CS9 in its current format ? If TfL have nothing to hide they should put the findings in the Public Domain. I think that's called 'democracy'. |
