This article seems desperate to me, to me it says nothing to support his case.
'Stansted needs proper rail links to the city' - errr, excuse me Zac but there IS a direct rail link from Stansted to the city - Oh, you mean that somehow the privatised operator of the rail link isn't running it right - so you are going to take their franchise away and give it to someone who will?.

'Reached easier by train' - if you're starting in central London maybe. If trains are so marvellous please explain why the french are still operating flights from Paris to Lyon.

'Heathrow for west facing and Stansted for east facing flights' - this guy has no idea what a 'hub' is. How marvellous it will be for someone to arrive in Stansted and have to transfer to Heathrow to continue their journey. We need a hub because that is what transferring passengers want.  And anyway, who is going to force a whole bunch of private companies to take the risks involved in making these changes.

Vested Interests - if you privatise stuff then you WILL get 'vested interests'.

And finally, the laughable punchline - 'why believe anything politicians promise' sorry Zac, no-one does.
