Old [very] retired caterer [me] writes: Only one queue and [try] one till, all Cafe serving staff concentrated behind counter. One prominent collection point for all cutlery, glasses, sugars etc. Make small separate area for diners [keeps them from delaying Q] A few tables, nos. adjusted after trial, clothed, laid, menued [improved] and waited on. Keep: super sandwiches, super cake and super staff. Chiswick House is a triumph/delight, best in London. |
