Oh what rubbish. It is the main reason they come to the UK rather than stay in one of the numerous countries they passed through to get to Calais. The other reason is how easy it is to escape into the black economy when they arrive in the UK. They wouldn’t pay  Łthousands for a place on a dinghy unless they were  aware of the rewards which await them in the UK.
