| I guess an option to retain trees but avoid the zigzagging around for pedestrains would be to cut down the old trees, then plant new trees on build outs from the pavement so the trees are further away from the houses and the pavement has a straight run through. Removing an old tree though has quite an impact on the flaura and fauna that depend on it though. |
