| I have no idea Steve, I did suggest earlier in this thread that that the answer to that question could vary significantly from the figure of 90% of ALL sexual offences against chidren/young adults being commited by people who are white. I don't even know if a reliable answer to that question exists. I seem to remember very recently that there had been a longstanding failure to record the ethnicity of people who had been convicted of sexual abuse who were in grooming gangs. I was replying to Keith Iddon's post by the way, but put my reply at the end of the thread as it was more likely to be read. My only personal experience of being involved with individuals who some might consider to be similar to a grooming gang was decades ago, and all 3 that I was acquainted with happened to be white. Fortunately I escaped their attentions. All three were imprisoned, and one, to my knowledge is still in prison. |
