Sorry not to have responded.  Joined a group of friends in Switzerland, husband skiing while I walked a bit on some of the beautiful prepared trails with 2 poles which improved my mobility.  Also found a hotel with a huge spa pool, water jets, wet and dry saunas and all the amenities that make life civilised.  I particularly appreciated the costume spinner.  Everything spotlessly clean.

I was also able to have a couple of half hour massages which improved the back pain but didn’t cure it.

Interestingly the massage and a day pass for the spa was Sfr 85.  A good physio is charged in London charges upwards of £150 and chiropractor around the £100 mark.  Unfortunately I broke my prescription glasses which will have to be replaced after eye testing.  No doubt my other glasses will need new lens’s all of which will be expensive.  What a palaver all this is.
