| Interesting. It always amazed me that people who had plenty of opportunity to see my name in print, on signed letters etc. would write back to 'Ann English'. It got so, much to my colleagues' amusement, that when giving my name on the phone I would say 'Anne with an e, England like the country'. To make my point to them I once pinned an envelope to my cardigan addressed to Ann English. |
