By way of update, following my complaint to Tfl, I have received a written apology from Mark Kemp - of TfL Customer Services, stating the following: "I have spoken to the station directly, and I can confirm that the path should have been kept open during a station closure and it was due to an internal miscommunication that it was closed. The Area Manager for Gunnersbury station has circulated communications to inform all staff that the public footpath should be kept open even when there is a station closure." |
