| When you look at the US' and UK's voting record on Israel at the UN you might wonder why and what the cause is for its consistency. You can also see how despite there being many different groups protesting peacefully against the war including CND, Stop the War, Jews against the war etc - an awful lot of attention is given to a couple of right wing stirrers making inflammatory statements as if to create fear and trouble. Biden's most recent speech was good. The best reason for studying history is so that we learn lessons from the past and don't allow the worst scenarios to be repeated. It doesn't look like we have. |
