Janice If a patient refuses an operation if its not life threatening has to be aware of the repercussions of their actions later on in life. If the decision was made by relatives under a Lasting Power of attorney it should have been discussed between all parties involved. But any medication for their original condition should be still given to them. But it maybe revised because as there's a possibility that their condition could get worse. Janice I must stress that I am NOT a medical person, but unfortunately I have been involved with a few people with long term illness and witnessed the good and the bad in the NHS service, their procedures, and what you can expect from them, over three decades. Sadly all of them passed away and the world lost some loving, kind, generous people |
