I remember being kept in the cells overnight in the old police station that's now the Crown, after a QPR v Chelsea match at Loftus Road in the late 60s. We Chelsea boys gave the QPR gorillas a right good kicking, and there wasn't enough room in the Hammersmith pc station to accommodate us all. Anyway, I'm not surprised they need to sell it. It's hopelessly overpriced, though the staff are very nice people. |
