Despite what some are saying here, these changes are extremely confusing and are clearly done to catch people out. I was caught out a few months ago turning right out of the Roko Health Club, before turning right again down Cavendish Road, a journey I had done many times before lockdown. The fact the restrictions come in just before the turn is a very sneaky way of catching people out - if they want to stop people using Hartington as a rat run, then this option should still be open, rather than forcing people to turn left and onto the already busy Great Chertsey Road. Although I was unsuccessful in appealing my ticket, a number of people have been - mainly due to the fact the signage is inadequate, and also partly obscured by the foliage either side of the road. This particular scheme should be overturned soon, as others already have been.
