Another juvenile response from you rather confirms Jeremy's point. There is no point in you consistently responding to every discussion on transport with a variation on 'aren't cars terrible, aren't I amazing'. Gunnersbury Park is glorious at the moment and was invaluable during lockdown as it was one of the few parks in this part of London in which you could properly socially distance. I think it will see visitor numbers fall significantly though when it introduces parking charges other than for those using the new sports facilities. For regular users the cost may be prohibitive but for those that visit occasionally paying for parking is more of a disincentive from a practical point of view because you can never be sure what app is used or whether they take coins or cards at the machine so it is easier just to drive to Chiswick House or the river when free parking is available. |
