Hi Chris - do you not spot Ken's post above?

"Chiswick is bucking the trend. Jeremy Day, of commercial estate agent Whitman & Co, says all its listed high-street shops are either under offer, or have been recently let, with several major retailers and restaurants due to move in shortly."

The world turns .... and high streets change. Anyone turning the pages of a local history book and looking at the photos will see how every shopping area changes radically over time.

Napoleon called us a nation of shopkeepers so perhaps to paraphrase Giuseppe Tomasi di Lampedusa - "if things are to stay the same something has to change".
