It's part of the wonderful flexibility of the bicycle that I fear will never be constrained! It's annoying enough for some drivers when a cyclist rides up to a crossing and then hops off and turns into a pedestrian to wheel their bike across it. Riding on a crossing might not in itself be illegal, as it's part of the highway, but it doesn't afford such a cyclist the same protection and priority as it does for pedestrians. |
