Indeed. The main reason being that there is no "gold standard" to compare the tests against. e.g. for a pregnancy test there is a clear outcome that enables test reliability to be established. Not so with Covid-19. I suggest that Hounslow's Public Health officer has a duty to make public all the relevant data (including false positive and negative rates) backing any decisions they make having an impact on citizens right to free movement and assembly. |
